Model-Evidence Link Diagrams (MEL) Project
The MEL project is exploring the effectiveness of instructional scaffolds to promote students’ scientific thinking when confronted with controversial and/or complex Earth and space science topics. The project is supported by the National Science Foundation (NSF) under Grant No. 2027376 and is part of NSF’s Discovery Research K-12 (DRK-12) program.

The network is developing educational tools through an interdisciplinary effort, with a focus on two spatial learning principles: Spatial feedback and spatial accommodation. This GET Spatial Learning Network is supported by the National Science Foundation (NSF), grant #1640800.
