Nancy Gans

Nancy’s research interests focus on the overlap between culturally sustaining and active learning pedagogical approaches and their joint influences on diverse communities of learners. She also focuses on the cognitive and emotional engagement of elementary-aged learners. Finally, Nancy is interested in the ​​epistemic cognition and critical thinking of younger students and teachers.
